How does it work? Our highly qualified therapist acts as a channel for energy, known as “Chi” in Chinese and “Ki” in Japanese. This energy is what an individual’s aura - or energy field - consists of. The therapist connects directly to the source of this energy by gently “laying hands” on specific points of the body. Negative energy is replaced with positive energy via the therapist. Our Reiki therapists combines a very gentle, holistic massage with the “laying of hands” and tailors each treatment to the specific needs of the recipient. The first treatment takes about an hour and 45 minutes, beginning with a consultation, during which the client can discuss what they hope to achieve from the treatment and ask any questions.
